How can I request a book or article that I can't find in the catalog or databases?

Answer

If there is a book or article you need but cannot find in the Library Catalog or our online databases, you can request the item by using our Interlibrary Loan service. Fill out the appropriate online form available on the library website by clicking on "Get More: Interlibrary Loan" in the box below the search box.

Once we receive the request, we contact other libraries in the United States and ask them to send the item to us. When the item arrives we will notify you to pick it up.

Articles may be received faster than books, usually within the week, while books may take two to three weeks to arrive.
