What are the fines for overdues?

There are no fines for overdue books or other library materials. However, once your items are one month overdue they are considered lost, and you are charged full replacement cost plus a $10 replacement fee for each item.
If your items are overdue, please return them as soon as possible to avoid being charged for lost materials. You can return them to the library, the LRC at KCHE, any of the book drops located in Blountville, KCHE, or Elizabethton, or to Jennifer Puckett in Gray.
You can call the library or chat with a librarian to renew your items if you need them longer. Call 423.354.2429 or use the chat box to the right to contact a librarian. You can also log in to your account in the library catalog if you are a student or employee of Northeast State and renew your books there.
